Meet Mya the practice owner.
My name is Mya Williams, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to helping individuals and families build healthier, more fulfilling lives. I have been working in the mental health field for over five years, providing support and guidance to clients across a wide range of ages and backgrounds.
The foundation of my career has been focused on working with adolescents and young adults. In this work, I have supported clients through challenges such as behavioral concerns, emotional regulation, self-esteem, peer relationships, family dynamics, and academic stressors. This experience has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the unique needs and developmental stages of youth, as well as the importance of providing compassionate and practical strategies that foster resilience.
In addition to my work with children and young adults, I also bring experience supporting adults. My work with adult clients has centered around helping individuals navigate life transitions, manage symptoms of anxiety and depression, address relationship challenges, and discover strengths that support personal growth.
As a therapist, my goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood and empowered. I believe in the importance of a collaborative therapeutic relationship, where we work together to set goals and develop strategies that meet your unique needs. I utilize evidence-based approaches tailored to each client, while also recognizing the value of compassion, cultural sensitivity, and individualized care.
Above all, I am passionate about walking alongside my clients as they navigate life’s challenges and discover new paths toward healing, balance, and growth.
